The FireKing 3-Hour Fire With Impact-Rated Data Safe has a wide range of
interiors for storing magnetic media, making it a versatile and economical
choice. Computer media is easily damaged. Manufacturers recommend storing
magnetic media at a temperature below 125ºF and at a humidity level under 80%.
Even a hot mug of coffee represents a real hazard, so imagine what a fire would
do. In a FireKing Data Safe, computer media is protected from fire, dust,
magnetic fields, unauthorized access, accidental damage and electrostatics. The
3-Hour Data Safe comes in five sizes, DM1413-3, DM2513-3, DM2520-3, DM3420-3, &
DM4420-3, and carry a UL Class 125 3-hour fire and impact rating. The walls and
doors provide the ultimate in protection by incorporating layers of heat
absorbing material, fireproof insulating foam and a tough steel casing.
Three-way boltwork ensures the doors remain shut if a building collapses during
a fire or if forced entry is attempted.
