Phoenix Lateral
FilesPhoenix has shown, with this series, that
a fireproof file cabinet can be elegant as well as
secure. All 2, 3, or 4 drawer phoenix
fire-resistant lateral files come equipped with a
gang lock, selective locking system, suspension
system and a 3-arm SwayGard system to minimize
torque. We also offer an optional caster base
and individual key locks or combination locks on one
or more individual drawers. All drawers come
equipped with integral rails for left to right
filling of documents and cross rails for back to
front filing. Each drawer features a "Pendaflex"
Hanging system capable of handling both letter and
legal size documents for ease of filing or
retrieval. Also included is a following block.

Features
Key-operated plunger lock system.
Standard on all our models, this system
secures all drawers.
Selective
locking system permits locking any
combination of 1 to 4 drawers while
leaving the balance unlocked.
Gard-lite insulation, an exclusive
manufacture's process.
Inner steel
jacket, to keep insulation locked in and
prevent access to a locked drawer from
an unlocked compartment.
Independent insulation surrounds each
drawer, making it independently
fire-resistant. Should one drawer
be left open, the others will remain
fully protected.
Suspension system
allowing drawers to roll freely.
Lateral files are also equipped with a
three-arm SwayGard system.
Handle
is elegant, modern and very durable.
Rust-resistant textured finish
High-sided drawers and versatile,
movable rails equip Phoenix files to
handle legal, letter and A4 (European)
size filing systems.
Options:
