"Finally a gun safe worthy of protecting your valuable weapons. At Blue Sky Safes, we are proud to sell you the Amsec BF gun safes. Traditional and factory direct gun safes are made two layers of 12 gauge steel that sandwiches a layer of Gypsum board (drywall). Have you ever seen a house that didn't burn because of the drywall? Your answer should be NO. How many building fires burn and you still can see the concrete walls standing? Many. This is the difference between the Amsec BF gun safes and the other guys with that 30 minute rating. Amsec BF gun safes use a poured in concrete mixture that they have called DryLight. This mixture fills the air gaps in between the layers of steel creating a total wall thickness of 2"". The door is created using a 1/2"" thick piece of steel and then uses a 1"" layer of DryLight and massive locking bolts for a total door thickness of 4 3/4""."
